Para mi no hay problema más horrible y molesto que tener los poros tapados, por más que utilizo mascarillas y exfoliantes siempre va a haber unos que de plano no puedo eliminar. Para esas ocasiones me gusta usar mi arma infalible; Bioré Tiras para la nariz.

For me there's nothing more bothersome or horrible than having my pores clogged, as much as I use face masks and exfoliators there's always some that I just can't get rid of. For those occasions I like using my super weapon, Bioré Nose Strips.

Tan simple y tan útil. Lo único que debes hacer es abrir tus poros, una buena opción es hacerlo después del baño, aplicas un poco de agua en el área de la nariz, la colocas y pegas bien. Listo! Déjala hasta que endurezca.

So simple and useful. The only thing you need to do is open your pores beforehand, a good option is taking a shower first, put some water on your nose area, place it and paste it. That's all! Leave it until it hardens.

Mascarilla de Sábila para el cabello | Aloe Vera Hair Mask (crecimiento del cabello/hair growth)

Hola a todos! Nos volvemos a ver después de mucho tiempo. 

Hoy les traigo una mascarilla para el cabello súper nutritiva y fácil de preparar. Esta nos va a ayudar a hacer que el cabello crezca más rápido, la sábila nos ayuda a reducir la caspa y la resequedad, además de limpiar a profundidad combatiendo el sebo. El aceite de oliva nos ayuda a nutrir nuestra cabellera dejándolo más saludable y brillante.

Hello everyone! Long time no see.

Today I bring you a super nutritious and easy to make hair mask. This recipe will help our hair grow faster; aloe vera helps reduce dandruff and dryness from scalp, it also deep cleans which helps fight sebum. Olive oil nourishes our mane leaving it shiny and healthy.

Necesitamos lo siguiente:

• Una hoja de sábila
• Aceite de oliva
• Recipiente
• Licuadora

Here's what we'll need:

• Aloe vera leaf
• Olive Oil
• Container
• Blender

1. Vamos a cortar con cuidado un costado de la sábila y a abrirla con las manos, con una cuchara le sacamos todo el gel y raspamos las paredes para sacarle todo a nuestra plantita.
2. Agregamos aprox. 4 a 5 cucharadas grandes de aceite de oliva.
3. Licuamos hasta tener una consistencia uniforme.

1. Carefully cut one side of the aloe vera and open it with your hands, with a spoon take out the gel part and scrape off any left on the leaf.
2. Add approximately 4 to 5 spoons of olive oil.
3. Blend until you have a smooth consistency.

Una vez lista la aplicamos en la raíz haciéndolo por secciones y luego de puntas hacia arriba. Damos masaje por 5 mins. y la dejamos actuar por 30 mins., después lavamos nuestro cabello como de costumbre.

Once it's ready, apply it to the roots of your hair  by sectioning and them from the ends to top. Massage for 5 mins. and leave it on for about 30 mins., after this wash your hair normally.

Otro buen descubrimiento de Avon... sí ya se que siempre les enseño productos de esta marca pero enserio que muchas veces me sorprenden.

Another great discovery from this brand... yeah I know I always show you things from Avon, but what can I do? Sometimes they surprise me.

Tengo el Flash Rosa y Splash Naranja, me falta el morado que espero sea igual de bueno que estos. 

Son barras humectantes pero súper pigmentadas, es un color que se queda contigo por mucho tiempo. No se si han probado los Lipstains, que son tinturas para los labios, cuando se secan te dejan pintada, algo así como el Cool Aid, pues bueno estos tienen un efecto parecido.

I own Flash Pink and Orange Splash, I still need to get the purple one which I hope is as good as these two. They're hydrating lipsticks but really pigmented, it stays on for a very long time. I don't know if you've heard about lip stains, it has a similar effect.

Este es el color de una sola pasada, están increíbles y si eres como yo no muy fan de los labiales esto te va a encantar, además se sienten refrescantes perfectos para los labios partidos.

This is a one stroke shade, pretty amazing and if you're like me not much of a lipstick girl you'll love them, plus they feel very refreshing perfect for chapped lips.

Algo más? Son muy económicos, valen muchísimo la pena te vas a sorprender.

Something else? Well they're very inexpensive and really worth a try.

Review: ELVIVE Óleo Extraordinario Crema | Extraordinary Oil Hair Cream

Hoy vamos a hablar de ELVIVE Óleo Extraordinario, la verdad que me esperaba mucho de este producto, sabiendo que todos dicen que el aceite es muy bueno yo me decidí por la crema intensiva.

Today we'll be talking about ELVIVE Extraordinary Oil, I actually expected so much out of this product, since there's been a fuzz over the penetrating oil I decided to go for the intensive hair cream.

Esta crema es para dar nutrición intensiva a nuestro cabello, tiene óleos de 6 flores preciosas

2.  Manzanilla: devuelve el brillo al cabello opaco. ya que suaviza la fibra capilar

Bueno para no hacer el cuento largo, no me gustó. El olor se me hace súper fuerte, después de un rato me marea. Al aplicarlo se siente bien pero luego de dejarlo 2-3 minutos se siente como si no te hubieras puesto nada. No queda suave, más bien me lo siento reseco, tampoco hace el efecto de desenredo ni siento el cabello nutrido. 

So long story short, I didn't like it. The smell is super strong for me, after a while it makes me feel sick. When applying it it feels ok but after 2 to 3 minutes it's almost as if you didn't apply anything. It doesn't feel soft, to me it almost makes my hair feel a little dry, it doesn't leave the anti-tangle or softness effect.

A pesar de darle todo el tarro de oportunidades, no vi ningún beneficio ni cambio. Tal vez tenga que darle la oportunidad al aceite porque la crema no la volvería a comprar.

After giving it a whole jar of opportunities, I didn't see any benefits or changes in my hair. Maybe I need to give the oil a chance because the cream I would never buy again.

Visita fría en ÉFESO |Cold visit to EPHESOS - Selçuk,Turkey

Era un día frío y lluvioso cuando llegamos a Selçuk una ciudad muy tranquila cerca de Éfeso, nuestro destino final.

It was a cold and rainy day when we arrived to Selçuk a nice and tranquil city very close to Ephesos, our final destination.

El primer día no nos estábamos sintiendo muy bien, habíamos viajado por varios días sin parar y los estragos de no dormir se empezaban a notar, por eso decidimos quedarnos a pasear por la zona y nos encontramos con varios lugares lindos.

On the first day we weren't feeling so well, we had been traveling non-stop for several days and the after effects of not sleeping were starting to hit us, so, we decided to stay and just look around the nearby places where we found some very nice sights.

Primera parada: nos dirigimos al castillo de Ayasoluk. Es el primer gran lugar que se puede ver a lo lejos, inmediatamente llama tu atención, es imponente. Fue construído en el Siglo V, adentro podemos ver cisternas, una pequeña mezquita y hermosas vistas.

First stop: we walked to Ayasoluk castle. It is the first beautiful place you can spot from afar, immediately catches your attention, very imposing. It was built in the 5th century and inside we can find, cisterns, a small mosque and amazing sights. 

Segunda parada: Basílica de San Juan.

Construida en el año 548 por el emperador Justiniano para el apóstol Juan.

Second stop: Basilica of St. John.

Built in 548 by emperor Justinian for John the apostle.

En la noche nos deleitamos con una rica cena, Pide que es como una pizza estilo turco.

At night we enjoyed ourselves with some yummy dinner; Pide turkish style pizza.

Por fin, al día siguiente se nos hizo visitar Éfeso. Un lugar donde te sientes que has viajado en el tiempo, es una antigua ciudad que fue centro religioso, cultural y comercial de Asia menor. Se dice que en verano es imposible  caminar por tanta gente que visita pero como nosotros fuimos en invierno hacía un frío del demonio y no había tanta gente.

Finally the next day we get to go to Ephesos. A place were you really feel like you travelled back in time, it's an ancient city which was once minor Asia's of cultural, religious and comercial centre. It is said that in summer time you can't even walk because there are so many people, but since we went winter it was so freaking cold and not so much of a crowd.

Increíblemente espectacular, lo único que me hubiera gustado es que no lloviera porque con el frío te dolían hasta lo huesos. Sin duda un lugar que hay que ver antes de morir.

Incredibly spectacular, the only thing I would have liked is that it didn't rain because added to the cold weather even your bones hurt. An absolutely must see place before dying.

Mini Mochila de Mezclilla DIY | Mini Denim Backpack DIY

Lo hice una vez más. Últimamente he estado muy emocionada haciendo manualidades pero creo que esta vez si se me paso la mano con el grado dificultad jaja.

I did it once again. Lately I've been into DIYs a lot but I think this time I really did go all out on the level difficulty.

El sábado muy temprano me puse a ver Pinterest y me tope con una hermosa imagen de una mochila de mezclilla y dije hmmm, se ve linda... seguí viendo y dí con una que decía DIY y luego luego dije, yo yo yoo! La verdad que no se veía tan difícil y modestia aparte soy muy buena en todo lo creativo, así que dije ¿por qué no?

On Saturday very early I decided to go on Pinterest and I saw a beautiful image of a denim backpack and I said hmmm, it looks nice... I kept looking and found one that said DIY and instantly went me me mee! It really didn't look that hard and leaving all modesty aside, well, I'm really good at all creative things so I asked myself, why not?

No voy a hacer un tutorial porque la verdad es complicado de explicar y ya hay unos súper buenos en internet pero más o menos lo que necesitas es:

• pantalón de mezclilla que ya no quieras.
• máquina de coser
• papel para hacer tu patrón
• mucha paciencia.

I'm not going to do a tutorial because it's really complicated to explain and besides there's really some great ones online. I'll kind of tell you what you'll need:

• jeans you don't want
• sewing machine
• paper to make your pattern 
• a lot of patience

Y bien, fue una tortura espectacular que la verdad disfruté mucho, soy muy minuciosa y creo que por eso me tomo tanto tiempo, eso y la mugrosa máquina de coser que a cada rato dejaba de funcionar y tuve que coser varias partes a mano (me salieron ampollas)fuera de eso me siento soñada con los resultados. La mochilita quedo muy bonita y está tan tierna!! Que mejor que poder reciclar y hacer cosas que a veces ves en tiendas y no puedes comprar. Creo que valió mucho la pena. Qué les parece? Se animan?

And well, it was a really cool kind of torture, I enjoyed it a lot even though it took me a long time. I encountered various problems, for example the sewing machine stopped working every 6 stitches, or that I had to sew many parts and got blisters. The mini backpack turned out really cute!! How awesome is it to be able to recycle and make the things you see in stores and sometimes can't buy? I think it was well worth the time, what do you guys think? Are you up for it? 

Resuelve el Cabello Grasoso sin champú seco | Solve Greasy Hair without dry shampoo

Siempre lo he dicho, soy una persona con cuero cabelludo graso y para eso ya no hay solución. Hay días en que quisiera dejar descansar mi cabello porque lo lavo a diario pero en verdad no puedo y no me gusta. En esas ocasiones donde de verdad estoy frita y de plano no puedo lavarmelo he llegado a usar el champú en seco, ya me ha tocado llevarlo de viaje pero no se me hace tan práctico por las siguientes razones:

• No lo puedo llevar en cabina en el avión, así que cuando llegue a mi destino y lo pueda sacar de la maleta ya me vió medio mundo.
• Es blanco, mi cabello es negro...
• Es súper escandaloso, si voy en un camión con gente dormida y me quiero poner, huele muchísimo y todos escuchan pffffttttt (hey mi cabeza está sucia, véanme!!)

I've always said it, I have a greasy scalp and there's no solution for that. Some days I would like my hair to rest from all that daily washing but I really can't and I don't like it. In those really extreme times when I absolutely have no way of washing my hair I have used dry shampoo, I've taken it on trips but I don't find it so practical for tthe next reasons:

• I can't take it on the airplane cabin with me, so b
  y the time I arrive to my destiny and I'm able to take it out the whole world already saw my ugly hair.
• It's white, my hair is black...
• It's so scandalous, if I'm on a bus full of sleeping people how can I hide the loud pfffttsss noise and the strong smell (hey my hair is dirty and I'm trying to clean it!! Look at me!!).

Así que bueno últimamente he optado por una solución más portátil y discreta. Es muy simple... talco de bebé. ALELUYA, ALELUYA!! Sí, es tan sencillo, me hace feliz sólo pensarlo :D Ahora para mis viajes sólo lleno un pequeño botecito de talco y me lo aplico en las partes que necesito, lo peino y taraaan!! Huele bien, absorbe la grasa y sí es blanco, pero bueno al menos no pagaste por algo extra (además pronto se desaparece). Tiene el mismo efecto con la ventaja de que es algo que probablemente ya tienes en tu casa y no te va a delatar con nadie. Ahí me cuentan que tal les fue, saludos!

So yeah, lately I've been going for a more discrete and portable solution. It's so simple... baby powder (talc). HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH!! Yep, it's so simple it makes me happy thinking about it :D Now on my trips I just fill some small bottle with powder and I apply it to my problem area and brush it, tadaaa! It's smells great, it absorbs oil and well, yeah it's white but hey! at least you didn't pay extra for it (and don't worry it disappears fast). It has the same effect as dry shampoo with the advantage that you probably already have this in your house and it really won't give you away to anyone. Tell me how it goes for you, greetings!
